Intercept Shield coin prioritization question...

Thanks to the generosity of board member coincop and his fine giveaway, I am now the proud owner of a number of Intercept Shield holders/boxes.
I am wondering how best to decide which coins are "movin' on up," and which will remain in the boxy blue and green PCGS ghetto.
Do you think I should put the "expensive" ones in the shields? Certain metal types...is copper more at risk than, say, silver or nickel? Gold?
Soooooooooooooooooooooooo many decisions...thanks!

Yup. Copper, Silver, then Gold. It's my understanding that these metals react (in that order) to the environment at different speeds.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.
2) WHITE silver
3) lightly toned silver
deeply toned stuff.. like from a cardboard mint set... don't even bother, the heavy tone is protection enuff in itself
and they're cold.

What do you think about nickel?
Thanks
I'd place it somewhere between silver & gold.

Remember, nickels are 75% copper and though the nickel content helps reduce the rate of toning, it doesn't help to a high degree.
Do you think silver that has already toned (nicely) is at risk, or is it pretty stable inside the slab?
Thanks
I've got some nice steel cents that I would like to keep in good shape.
OK, I think that's really it now
