Is the PO-01 grade challange on?

if so ill send out my wheaty . its a garenteed po-01 . if not then ill just chuck it with the other loose change. let me know

  • I don't belive the PO-1 challenge was for wheaties.

    I think you would be surprised at how hard it is to get any coin graded PO-1. Mine keep coming back bagged or AG3.

    this is an identifable one cent wheat and Barely identifiable 1911. no liberty, i got GOD and a W. and half of lincolns head. on the other side i got. one cent flat and worn out. and part of a right side top wheat. other than that i got nothing. maybe an PO-01

    The TPGS are alot stricker on PO1 grade than the MS grades.....So it better be a solid PO1.image

    If you get a PO01 and Braddick doesn't want it, I'll pay strong money for it! It would replace the 1911 AG03 in my set (here's a picture of my coin)....always looking for downgrades!

    Paul - I'd say "no". Too much obverse roughness. PCGS is pretty picky about porosity and corrosion and other damages. Unfortunately, just plain worn isn't enough to get a PO01 grade - its got to be NICE for the grade. Here's a 1795 Large cent in PCGS PO01 for comparison:
