and the inclination to look at my NGC registry set. I have upgraded pictures and upgraded coins in my set. I have repaired the link to get directly to my collection @ NGC titled toneddollars. I have two ICG graded coins that I have uploaded in to the collection One is a 1891-cc and it can be found in the 1891 link as the second picture (reverse). The second coin is a 1887-o proof like in a ICG65 holder and is my favorite coin in my collection. It can be found in the 1887 over 6. It has it great colors, textile toning all over proof like surfaces, and it is a very tough date in this grade to boot.

FYI: the 1881-S shows obverse photos of two different coins in the NGC site.

Actually, there appear to be several like this. You might want to check your images.

I have multiple coins of those dates so I posted two pictures of some of them. I thought it beat the hell out of looking at plain white reverses

Amazing set TD.I've never seen some of those dates with anywhere near that caliber of color.I would strongly encourage any collector, Morgan or otherwise, to take the time to look at each and every coin listed in that set.Some of these are VERY rare with even half the quality of color that these examples display.

Toned Dollars, great set. You're right too. People don't bother with serious posts about classic coins as a rule. We're like the Maytag repairman sometime. But mention something about a modern error or an ebay scam and your in like Flynn.

Thanks, I like looking at registry sets...way COOL! Hopefully I'll start mine soon. I sent off nine of my highest to be graded, including three DMPL's and it seems the post office has misplaced my coins

Damnn, this is what I got from ngc trying to look at your 8TF. They're programming is so pathetic.

Goldsaint- I clicked on the registy ID number to see the pics. It took awhile for the pics to load for me and I have broadband.

It was worth the wait, though.

Toned dollars- You have a great collection! I like the fact that you have more than one example for some dates. Nice job.
