This is cool!
Also, send me an email using the ebay system, I'll give you the details there.
Do you think that her sig. is worth this amt.?
Later, Paul.
Later, Paul.
You'r so full of shiiiii it's not even funny the signature alone cost more than that idiot.!
Also what about the raw coin? I almost forgot about that part.
I submitted 2 green mosters for this project, I'm also the only one with the 2004's I have 3 other guys selling them for me, so far we've sold 827 of the almost 1000 we had.
90% of all the ones we touched sold for $95, you my friend have no clue as to what you're talking about, and probably do not do this for a living.
But then again, who are you?
We always sell our coins at a fair price. We wouldnt be at 2.5 years 2900 feedbacks on ebay with a perfect record (the few small b/s we had were people not paying us) other than that all is well.
For those other guys think we all sit at home , dont work and make buckets full of money, I personally have 8 workers that need the income I make from all 3 of my businesses to survive, we ALL know how expensive it is to live in SO CA.
The thing I've noticed, the people that live in the states where cost of living is very low are usually the first ones to bash people that make coins for a living, having ZERO clue as to what or overhead is. .......and probably don't have a clue how a business should be run.
My next question for the idiot that said that idiotic remark, have you ever had a $15,000+ invoice from PCGS, also have you ever handed 5000 Silver Eagles at a clip?
I bet you're one of those guys Miles was telling me about, that sits in front of his computer, in a wee little apartment wishing he could be doing what I do for a living.
If that smart ass thinks he can get a ready made PCGS JESSICA LYNCH product for $20 bucks Please by all means sell me all you can make, and show Miles some love, and have him go nuts over your idiotic post.
I'll be waiting for your 5000 Jessica Lynch 2004 SILVER EAGLES, I'll sit here and wait OK, dont worry I'll be like a loyal little dog and wait for you to supply me with them.
I'm willing to bet 100 bucks not only he wouldnt be able to get the raw coins to get the job done, and second I dont think he could afford the $150,000+ bucks it would cost to get those coins made in one shot to supply me with. put your money where your mouth is buttwhipe!
<< <i>You'r so full of shiiiii it's not even funny the signature alone cost more than that idiot.! >>
I see you just got back from your Dale Carnegie refresher course.
BTW, big talker, I'm still waiting for you to do something with that joke of a proof Kennedy Short set that you and mini pimp were going to knock me off with. How are things down there in 20th place?
Now, of course, you'll pop in and blowhard about your "award winning" modern bullion, like anybody cares.

Right now that's my priority!
Yeah Russ but how many awards have you won so far? 52-0 my favor!
Also, Russ the max value of your sets combined is maybe a max of let's say $20k and that's being very generous being you're a bottomfeeder.
On the other token my so called buillion Gold set sold last year for just over 1.5 million bucks and my platinum set had an offer of just over 1 million which I passed up.
I think I'm the one that's laughing...... all the way to the bank bud......

Thats the way to win more clients reading this thread. Call them a bottom feeder when they have a $20K collection. Who freaking cares how many thousands of coins you submit? ALOT of dealers do that same amount and don't brag about it or bash their buyers here on the forum.

But then again, who are you? >>
I ask you a ligit question and you attack me on an open public forum in front of all of these people, is this what I am suppose to understand.
Does anyone at PCGS have any response to this?
Is this how you react to any of your POSSIBLE customers or am I to understand that they may not ask any questions?
Are you in need of some counceling from a MD?
My name is Paul and I am a member here so DO NOT INSULT ME again!!! If I read any more foul mouth negative remarks garnered at me I will petition to have you removed from these boards!
Later, Paul.
Later, Paul.
Paul, did I win anything?
1. MOst (or at least many) or his posts focus on bad mouthing and insulting other members for no particular reason.
2. His posts generally point out how much money he makes and how everything in his life seems to revolve around the fact that his set is worth more $$$ than some one else's set.
3. He has rarely (I won't say never, but I have never seen it) posted anything of value (not $$$ value but educational or informational value) to the forum.
So, while there are others who sometimes overreact, most of them also contribute something of value to the forum. I'll single out one: Russ, simply because he seems to be one of MrPlatinums's favortie 'whipping boys'. Yes, Russ sometimes goes a little overboard in his posts, but in the years I've been on this forum, there are few who consistently offer as much good advice and information.
So yeah it would be nice if everyone toned it down a little, but some people have a lot of redeeming value to this board, and others (MrPlatinum in particular) seem to only post when they have someting nasty to say. I'm sure, MrPlatinum, you are a very successful businessman. I am also sure that you are very knowledgable about your area of specializatoin. But none of us really care how much you sold your last set for. And some may not even care about bullion (others don't care about Kennedy half dollars and tother don't care about old classic coins). But there are plenty who might benefit from your knowledge if you chose to share that rather than boasts of your wealth and derogatory comments directed to other board members.
Why don't we all take a time out, go sit in a corner for awhile, and then come back to the boards in a constructive manner!!
Pete
OK here we go .. <<< egsantos>>>> I've been in business nearly 19 years now, I own 3 businesses, and always report my taxes, you being in South America shouldn't be talking about things you do not know. Last year for 9 months out of 12 we did just over 1.1 million dollars worth of sales both in my coin and bullion business,Tropical fish business which I'm one of the top importers of both the Congo, and Iquitos Peru, not to mention the fish I import out of Brazil and Asia.
I'm happy to be able to boast that all my businesses combined last year took in well over 15M in total sales our biggest year by far... That's not including the gains that my personal Platinum gained during that same time. egsantos, I welcome anyone to question me including the IRS and anyone else that feels the need.
I just point out to people it takes' 100's of thousands of dollars to be a major player in the coin business, ask Mitch what he faces every day, just in the prices of metals.
<<<kieferscoins>>> Russ is a blowhard always was and always will be in my book, his set is at #3, my 16 year old child can take his set out in time, I personally have too much going on, and would like to spend 3 weeks in Greece enjoying my Olympic vacation to be fooling around with such petty crap, heck just with the crap that closed on eBay yesterday I could buy the needed coins to take my kid's set to about #2. Not to mention my gains on Rhodium over the last 10 days, anyone that knows me well knows I have a major interest in Rhodium and every PGM's that exist.
OK next.....
<<<< JrGMan2004 >>>> My set not only sold once in 2002 it sold again in 2003, both times bringing in more than the first, also the 95W Pr-70 silver eagle bought in about 85k for my client, so take that toilet theory and wipe your own ass with it.
Every single TOP EAGLE set that exists I either owned at one time, or bits and pieces still remain with me, not to mention NONE of the those top sets would be where they are today because of me, not to mention the interest Platinum coinage got again because of me.
So your toliet must be stuffed up, which set won best set of 2003? That would be my top 2 sets in Platinum Eagles, in all denominations both PR and MS.
Also, the funny thing about 2003 I did not show all my cards, I have many many 70's that are not showing anywhere. (what for)
Just think about it I passed up 1M on my personal set how sad are you to think it's toilet money, to me that set is play money, just another needless thing I own.
Also JrGMan2004 how many award winning sets do you own? It took me 100's of thousands of dollars to build my set, ask Mitch what an undertaking it is to build not 1 but 17 platinum sets (complete) just the maintenance of those sets are an easy 100k a year probably more than what your take home is at your job.
My entire family enjoys looking at our mantle loaded up with not only PCGS awards, but also the 100's of trophies I took home being a top competitor of tropical fish for 18 years of my life. 18 years down 2 more to go... (then sweeet retirement) Now many 36 year olds do you know that can say that?
<<<JrGMan2004>>> you can be buddies with Mr.Blow hard Russ, I never liked him and never will, he went on the attack with my 16 year old son that's where he made his biggest mistake messing with my child.
<<<<<Stooge>>>> yes I'm in need of an MD after all I do have mental problems according to you, it was you that attacked first trying to say PCGS's coins arent worth a crap, now go on with your 4 free submissions will ya? I'll give you $500 bucks for all 4 coins since your so called 70 freebee is an over rated piece of silver right?
It goes both ways buddy.
I'll give you $500 bucks for 4 ounces of silver which at today's price is just over 7 bucks. Who cares if it's PR- or MS- to a bullion dealer, it's just silver right?
Not a bad deal an 18 to one swing, heck you didnt even pay for grading!
Want to sell give me your paypal info and I'll get you paid.
<<<tompkins>>>> I ran out of words to say, put a little of the above statement(s) and make your own, almost like an omelet...
Honestly I didn’t want to know that you declare or not your income to IRS. I just alerted that isn’t a habitual Entrepreneurial procedure.
I’m in my own business at 30 years, enough time to learn that is not clever declare in public my personal income, my business revenue and others things that just is my own interest. I’m what I learned in my 54 years not how much money I earned.
Yes, I live in South America, but, in my wall I have a MBA Diploma from Cornell and PH’D from Oxford. I speak English and more 5 languages, what gives me the right of expressing on me about North American subjects, besides the fact that I have propriety in USA and pass a month or two per year there.
I want transmit to you my congratulations for your successful business. You work with 2 things that I love. Coins and marine fish. In my home I have a 600 gallons salt water aquarium and there is my favorite place to seat in front and thinking about the good things of the life.
To finish I will give to you a hint. When you want to speak of your business in a nice way, refer to the number of jobs positions that was generated, because that is the Entrepreneur's social obligation. My own company generates 6.000 jobs. About that I have pride to speak.
Have a nice day.
Mr P, In all do respect I think you need counseling. You do have some deep seated issues. You my friend do need quite a few sessions.
Somewhere you seem to equate money with respect. Respect has to be earned as with money but just because one has money their actions deem respect. Your actions as they are now could never get respect.
I'm glad your going to take a vacation and watch the Olympic's. Get your bowl of pop corn ready, your favorite beverage and settle into you favorite chair and enjoy them on your television. (I'm sure it's a 40 foot screen .. and you'll tell everyone about it)
Awards and money aren't everything in life... Hey MrP, how many friends do you have? And I mean REAL friends? How bout your son? If he's anything like you, I'd severely doubt he has any REAL friends...

Hi,
I have been selling vintage Hollywood Autographs for years, so this is sort of "material" is not my strong point, but this interested me so I had a quick look around. I was unable to find a price, or even a reputable dealer or auction house who has sold one in recent months. I don't think it would be more than a few dollars, especially when the 15 minutes is gone. I am speaking of the genuine signature on a 3x5 card or even a photo - the bulk of the actual value of these slabs is intrinsic as far as I am concerned.
Best,
Billy

Leo Garcia is a huge joke at which everybody is laughing, and the only one here who doesn't realize it is he.

"Everybody should carefully read Edson's post; a man who is an Oxford Ph.D., in business 30 years and employing 6000 people. Contrast its unassuming tone with the big talking arrogant blowhard who started this thread. See the difference? One is desperately trying to prove something; the other has already proven it.

with the both of you.
All of a sudden not only do I have the highest thread on here right now, but my auctions are getting more and more bids.
I start everything for 99 cents and let it rip like I ate at Taco Bell.
Now tell me you guys wouldnt bid on my items just to get a shot of getting something dirt cheap!.
Turn up your volume, click and laugh your ass off!
Yee Hawww....
<< <i>Now tell me you guys wouldnt bid on my items just to get a shot of getting something dirt cheap!. >>
I'll pass on your offer.
<< <i>You can buy an already slabbed 2004 PCGS MS69 A.S.E. for <$20 and your asking 4 x's as much. >>
Mr. P,
Geez!!! You should take some of your millions and invest in a reading course. Paul said nothing about a Jessica Lynch coin being available for < $20; he said " a 2004 PCGS MS69 A.S.E.", and then you went off on a tirade. If this is typical of your behavior, do the world a favor and retire 2 years earlier than you had planned. If you don't want to retire yet, and are such a fan of Jessica Lynch material, why don't you guarantee all of your buyers that you'll repurchase it at full original price at any time within 5 years? You'd need a warehouse to hold it all. Personally, I don't believe a Jessica Lynch signature will be worth the paper it's printed on in a very few short years. Heck, I wouldn't pay ONE dollar for it now.
p.s. Your ranting, bragging, and name-calling is getting real old real fast. Grow up!
Jim
Can anyone make a guess?
I bet it will be Barry Bonds when he hits the #700 Homerun of his career, or maybe a standout athlete from the Athens Olympic Games.
Personally I would buy a Platinum coin with MrPlatinum's signiture on it!
Later, Paul.
P.S. Well then again....maybe not!
Later, Paul.
