Well, I have my preferences set for 100 posts/page, and I'm the final post of page 10, which makes post #1000. Please send my fabulous prize immediately. Even with claws's question, he didn't specify 1000th DISCRETE poster, so it's still me.
Xpipe....can you take that multiple, juvenile, quick postings back to the Open Forum and away from the USCoin Forum please? It is just stupid over here and you have created at least one more doing that now.
It brings no value and...well, I have censored myself at the moment.....just PLEASE LEAVE THE USCOIN FORUM if that is all you are here to do (be annoying and up your post count).

I don't agree with this at all. Some of the best deals I've bought on ebay were raw coins. I think the real message should be: Careful, Careful, Careful when buying on Ebay.

No, they came from poe and are spoofed to have come from somewhere else. I am a network engineer.
Also, it certainly would be "apples to apples", as a matter of fact the 600 dpi option would be better and serve to exhonerate either of you from any wrong doing-it is suspicious that you would forego this opportunity , just as it is suspicious that the ip is spoofed.

That's what IP spoof does, you screwed up though and forgot that it won't cloak the text name of the originating email addy.

OK, yeah, you're right -- XPipe, you win. DMWJR, I'll send you something too -- don't want to get your hopes up & let you down over my dumb mistake. Anyway, gentlemen, PM me your shipping info and a nice treat shall be yours. Thanks for playing...
And, JLeland, the forensics are interesting -- but this has been a cold & closed case for a long time!
mirabela: I got lost somewhere about page 10 and never did learn how things turned out. I didn't notice this all took place months ago until about page 8 or 9. Did you get your money back? What was the final resolution?
Who is General Failure, and why is he reading my hard drive?

Thank you very much, and if it's all the same to you, I'd like you to give my prize to a young numismatist of your choice from the boards (if you don't mind having another giveaway ).
Oi vay! Xpipe, draw the name of one out of a hat! Let me know...
Stev32k, yes, I did get my bread back through PayPal. Poe refused the coin at the post office -- I attempted to return it to him after ANACS slabbed it as cleaned, net EF45 -- so I wound up with the money and the coin. Of course, the coin was worth less than the ANACS express fee, but no matter. Sold it. Over, done. Poe went back to ebay. Catfish drifted into obscurity -- tried for a while to participate in normal threads like any other collector, but there were those who would not let him forget his role in this and after a while I guess he just went away.
I think you should have been reimbursed for the grading fees. In business when there is a dispute over the quality of raw materials or product a third party does the analysis and the loser pays the fee. Things should work the same way in cases like this, but that is probably not enforceable.
Who is General Failure, and why is he reading my hard drive?

now what is my prize?
Who's your daddy?

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
And, good riddance to this one!
<< <i>Let's go for 2000! Woo-hoo! >>
Be careful what you wish for.
<< <i>By my reckoning, the 1,000th post to this thread was made near the top of the previous page by DMWJR. PM me your mailing info! >>
Your reckoning is wrong. Where's my prize?
<< <i>I just counted back the posts from the top and Xpipe as 1000, DMJWR as 998. >>
That is correct.

Give it to Doug....or me

Hey, as I posted earlier in the thread, I was just posting what I though about the quality of the seller, poe58
