Edited to add: Tgilliams, the lack of toning, in itself, does not have any bearing on whether a coin is a counterfeit/copy or not - many old (genuine) coins have been dipped and have no toning.
Click here for the site that braddick mentioned. Look for the coin niknamed "Oldie"

<< <i>There are several diagnogstics that give this coin away as a counterfit. The most telling one is that the counterfit has a reeded edge. Genuine Draped bust dollars have a lettered edge. Click here for the site that braddick mentioned. Look for the coin niknamed "Oldie" >>

one of the older men in the coin club i go to went to thailand last summer and he bought almost the same exact coin back but the date was 1804 he bought it in thailand for 5 usd along with a copy of a trade dollar for 5 usd and an excellent copy of a morgan dollar in silver that would pass as genuine at any coin shop with just a curosary glance
