Here is an interesting slab for your collection. I have seen these a few times and they are pretty neat. Produced to sell proof Krugerrands (all sizes), they were one of the first, if not THE first, slabs. Since I do not have my slab book with me, I can't relay any of the info. But I can tell you that each of the Krugerrand sizes had their own size case (and yes, the 1/10 oz is really cute!). The larger pieces are hand-labeled and graded on a . . . get this . . . scale that goes to 105! Yes, that's 105! So a grade of 97 ain't so grand.
You do not see these that often and occasionally they come with custom fit small leatherette display boxes. Regarding the price . . . you should be able to pick them up at shows for a modest premium above gold since so few people collect proof Krugerrands. Thus the $550 price tag on this one is a bit strong. Still a neat piece, however.

Neat slab!

Lane are you saying that the smaller denominations used smaller sized slabs as well? That would be interesting and something I didn't know. (Al I have ever seen have been one oz pieces.)
