Not a chance. Summer yawns, maybe, but I don't see a disaster in the cards.

    longtime,

I had the same thought last night while cruising the Heritage auction catalog ... it reminded me of something that started 15 years ago this summer ... for whatever that's worth. Although back then, we didn't have moderns going for four figures ... so IMHO it could get messier.

That's probably good. The losers that hang out over there are very nasty people.

You won't catch me hanging around over there with those reprobates. Disgusting place full of disgusting people.

It is very difficult to call the end of an up cycle untill it actually happens.

There are some indications that we may be closer to the end then the beginning for

a number of series of coins, but having said that, this market may continue on its goofy

upswing for a while yet. Of course, external events can alway have a dramatic impact

on any market, be it coins, stocks or housing. Should a down market occur, it is advisable to have

some cash available as quality coins will become available at more reasonable prices. While most

of us collectors will continue to buy coins on the upswing, no need to spend all our money right away.

I'm with you, Dave. If something comes along for me, I'm out because the market is peaking in three weeks.... image

What a sad bunch of bad feelings, for those who are in the same fun hobby. Why draw such a distinct line when the real differences are so puny? The people "over there" have some, not maybe all experiences that one "over here" may or may not have. Comments, to some, may be appreciated and educational. Those with the wool pulled tightly over their eyes, please ignore this post.
