Anyone know who bought the 66RB Wreath and 67RB Liberty Cap Cents in the Jung sale?

I thought they might show up on Joe O'Connor's website -

Those were two of my favorites in the entire collection. Beautiful coins.

No. I had been tempted to start a type set, but the passion just isn't there. It's been done too many times and I prefer the road less traveled. Not sure what the next collection is for me.... for now I'll just sit back and watch and learn for a bit - I'm sure when the time is right I'll know it.

I agree. Those two were worth owning. But honestly I had no interest in the Chain cent at all.

Well, if TDN starts delving into halves then we will all be tempted to remark that a half of a TDN is better than no TDN at all.image

    Agreed.

And I like the tact of slowing down a bit and taking in whatever there may be to learn.

  • I believe the Wreath Cent was purchased by the same collector who is the Ally Collections. Don't know who bought the 94.

Collectors bought an aweful lot of coins out of that sale. I was there.
