i got my coins back from pcgs

hi
i got back my coins today,grades look a liitle bit low to me,
would you guy & girls take a look and tell me what you think.?
all 3 gold coins came back in the same grade.i don"t think
thay are all the same.but this is my first time to send in coins to pcgs.

Frequently the difference between AU and EF boils down to luster. How is it on these coins?

i did think that two was au or better.the luster is lacking a little.
i have seen other that look no better.that was grade ms60

The 92CC does look better than the others, but it may just be the small pic.

For the past few months, PCGS seems to be grading at least 1/2 point tougher.

Dont know how long it will last, but its very tough to get the grade one expects lately.

This might be a good thing, but is sure makes one not wish to break high grade coins

out of their PCGS holders and try for upgrades.

But it probably had no rub and the lustre wasn't broken--a coin with light but complete lustre and no rub is still uncirculated...

By the way, was this a freebie submission?

it was a gold membership submission,
my first time,i have sent 4 more submission in but ,thay have not got back.the gold coins have not got back,but i got a email with a link to the grades ,thay was mail out to me today.

Very nice, congrats.
Although, I am not good at grading gold coins, I suspect they dinged them on the hair around the ear.
When I look at a MS state gold coin, there is detail there around the ear. But on those XF45 coins the hair looks worn down a bit
in this area. That may be the critical wear spot on this series. The next wear spot maybe the frame or edge of the shield over the eagle's breast on the reverse.

yes ,i think the high spots are the hair around the ear,top of hat,and right wing tip. but i learn this after i got them 3 gold coins,i will do better next time,for sure.!

More times then not, when I dont get an upgrade and I view my coins objectively,

I understand the reason for their failure to upgrade. Its just possible that PCGS, really

does know what its doing.
