Found this walker a month or so on eBay. It's a key date (38-d) just in avg circulation grade. The description was "rim bump" I saw it as a planchet clip. Your thoughts? Hopefully the scan blow up is good enough for you all..image

    It looks like a planchet clip.
    Young Numismatist that collects: Morgan Dollars, SAE, Proof Sets, and Liberty Nickels.
    I also love to go through rolls to find coins.

    doesn't look like a rim bump... but it may not be a planchet clip either. I am not sure.

    Wow...I thought it was a die break too...kinda changed my mind when I saw the whole coin though...lol

    billboat, that's an honest mistake from the blowupimage It was one of the reasons I bid on the coin, not only a semi-key, but a what appeared to be a cool clip.
