I have not but there are those stories about kids getting into a coin collection for spending money.

I've spent proof coins. I spent a proof Ike last year.
Great transactions with oih82w8, JasonGaming, Moose1913.

I was going to spend a Washington half that I had been carrying as a pocket piece for a number of months, but I ended up losing it somewhere. I did spend a Silver Eagle, if that counts.

<< <i>i think it's safe to say i've spent every bicentennial quarter i ever found in circulation. >>
Indeed. I've spent loads of SQs and Peace nickels, too.
a Cleveland half. I've spent almost every bicentennial quarter I got in circulation (did find a couple
gems and one clipped planchet which I kept). Have also spent most all the states issues. The Wash-
ington itself was originally intended as a one year commem so these all may qualify. Ten years ago
culls had almost no value so I also spent obsolete denominations and types including some com-
mems. Of course there are also many bicentennial halfs and dollars which I've spent.
Looking for 1967 PCGS/NGC slabbed coins.

I also love to go through rolls to find coins.

And she didn't even get to confuse a cashier!
I was majorly unhappy
<< <i>I'm pretty sure there were some Oregon Trail halves in circulation in the 20s and 30s. >>
There must have been. I found an AU-ish one with my detector.
