Any Information on these Graders.............

Does anyone know if either were reputable graders?

  • One guy graded these coins and I have seen them all over the board - most overgraded but 1-2 undergraded. if offered by a dealer or on ebay most of them have no chance of the stated grade because the service is out of business and essentially worth more out of the holder than in the unknown holder.

  • Cameron: Thanks for your quick response. Do you think they're worth $195.00 each?

  • The slab is worth a few dollars but the pic is so small and blury for the coin you can't judge how the coins look by those pics.

If those coins were in good condition for a 65, you can bet they either wouldn't be for sale or else have EXTREME close-up pictures.

Had me scared for a bit! I thought I was the only one that could not see what they were talking about.

Glad it ain't just me. I see the question, but no links or pics of any kind. I reloaded the page twice.

Maybe this is one of those "emperor's new clothes" things. image

He ad p pictures of an FCS 1.5 "slab" (not listed in the book, will be in the second edition) and an INL 2 "slab". Morgan dollars, didn't note dates or grades given. Cameron is right though, there was no way to judge the quality of he coin from the picturs that were posted.
