what date/s is the best for collecting Morgans in every grade?

All,
This has been brought up before, but I am wondering what are some of the dates that are common enough (ie: not too expensive) to try and collect a certified example in grades AG-MS - basically a grading set. Some have mentioned that it would be neat/interesting to collect one particular date/mint of one coin, and have it certified in all grades from PO-1 to MS70. I don't think you will get the ENTIRE 70 point Sheldon scale, but it would be neat to make a grading set from say G-4, VG-8..... MS65.
I would like to start a "grading set" for Morgan Dollars. My plan is to collect one PCGS graded Morgan for G-4, VG-8, F-12, VF-20, EF-40, AU-50, MS60, MS61, MS62, MS63, MS64, and MS65. These all need to be the same date/mint.
I have looked at prices, but what dates do you think would give me the best chance at completing a grading set as mentioned above? Obviously, common date Morgans are going to be tough to find in low grades. What are your thoughts? Any suggestion on dates?
Anyone done this already?

My Collection of Old Holders
Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
Good luck with your quest !!
It looks like I will try for either the 1979-S, 1880-S, 1881-S or 1882-S Morgan grading set.
edited to add: the 86-O gets real expensive in MS. Try 1885--generally well struck--a great year. US Grant died in 1885 for you Civil War buffs.
