I'm a Hiking Junky. I just knocked out 30 miles on the Appalachian Trail this past weekend. I was also out for two weeks in June and did 155 miles. FatMan is my trail name as I am some what large for a backpacker.

I play Magic: The Gathering, it's a collectible card game. I'm currently getting ready and playtesting a deck for a major Tournament in Orlando 3 weekends from now. Top 36 get Cash Prizes, Top 16 Amateurs get cash prizes too. Also, Top 8 get an invitation to a Pro Tour Tournament... image I doubt I'll win much, but, still get to learn a lot in a major tournament... image If you're an amateur and you win the tournament, you'll get like $3000 I believe...

I've played plenty of card games... I started with Star Wars: CCG, also played Star Trek: CCG, both from Decipher. Knew how to play Magic for a long time, but didn't start until Last February or so. Also played Yu-Gi-Oh, but got tired of the little kids that played at the Card Shop, then changed to DBZ, got tired of the arrogant kids that played DBZ at the shop... so I started playing Magic. A much more mature crowd that plays at the shop... plus two of my best friends play... image I've also recently gotten involved with playing D&D... image But yes, MTG is still quite popular around the world.

I just bought a new house so my current hobbies are: stripping wallpaper, sanding walls, painting, replacing outlets and switches, replacing plumbing fixtures, lawncare, etc. All of this with the help of my 6 year old and 4 year old sons.

When I'm not doing that I like to spend time with my sons, hike, bike, listen to Yankee games (I live near Boston so I don't get to watch them often) and play lacrosse.

I enjoy collecting Colt pistols, looking to complete my "Snake collection" ( I need a Diamondback, a Viper, a Cobra, and a King Cobra..image) I used to play golf, am looking forward to getting back into it. I compete in pistol matches, and enjoy poker, woodworking, old westerns, (my icon is my fav). And going to streetrod fests! Hope to have one of my own someday. (when my son is on his own, :coolimage
