Price help on 1872 2 cent please!

I just upgraded my 1872 2 cent from a PCGS VF35 to a PCGS MS64BN.
By happy coincidence, I am going to be at the Baltimore coin show
this weekend so I am planning on selling off at the show a bunch of
coins so my wife doesn't kill me for spending so much on my new 2 center.
Question: Anyone have a good feel for what a VF35 is going for right now?
I know that it is one of those middle grades that you hardly ever see, so I
would anticipate a decent price; I just don't want to walk up to some
dealers without any good grasp of current prices. (I haven't seen one in
that grade range on Ebay in years, so my "normal" way of determining
market value isn't available! )
Any data would be appreciated!

ANACS EF40 for 600
Somewhere in the middle I suppose. Depending on what your coin looks like, It could go for anywhere between 550 and 600 if it is PCGS certified.
The big down side on the coin is that there is not a lot of spread on the Gray Sheet from VF to MS-60. The "bid" range is $440 to $700 over the FOUR grades. A lot of collectors are going to look at that and think, "For just a few bucks more, I could get more coin." What they don't realize is that the coin is really hard to find in the lightly circulated grades WITHOUT problems.
$500 sounds fair, but you might trouble getting it because EF bid is $560.

Bid for an EF might be $560, but in the real world - unless it's junk - you can't buy one for that. A nice for the grade EF45 would bring at least the $700 that Greysheet has for MS60.

a long time to find something better than my old example to upgrade;
they are really hard to find!
Congrats on your aquisition!
I know you've been looking to upgrade for a long time. I just looked at the image, looks very nice.
