Don Kagin was interviewed by NBC here at the ANA Summer Seminar yesterday and they are airing a clip on the penny and wether or not it should be eliminated this evening on the national news. They took shots of other classes from the ANA summer seminar and it will be on this evening!

Don Kagin holds the only PHd in Numismatics which was awarded to him by Northwestern University. Interestingly the NBC Newscaster Tom Brokaw referenced above was the graduation speaker this year at Northwestern University's commencement. I have attended commencements and heard graduation speeches for various of my graduating kids at several different universities and this was the best graduation address I have heard to date beating out Bono's remarks at Harvard and the UN Secretary General Kofi Annon at a prior Northwestern graduation. Well worth the read - a challenge to today's graduates to become the next "Greatest Generation." Especially moving were Brokaw's reflections on the "Greatest Generation" which departed from his prepared text and related his personal feelings from having just returned from a visit to the Beaches of Normandy. What a small world. My kid graduating that year when Kofi Annon spoke was in the School of Communications a/k/a School of Speech. I'm an NU graduate myself who lives in Alaska.

It's been at least 5 years since i've watched one of the commielibs on network news spout their leftist propaganda. Even if they do a segment on numismatics, they are still banned in my house.
