I need help identifying a (Greek?) coin....

I can't supply a pic so here is my best description:

It may be a commem because it has the dates "1863-1963" on the obverse at 12:00,

It may be a proof because it has a highly reflective finish,

It is made of Silver,

The diameter is right between a walker half and a morgan dollar,

On the obverse there are the portraits of five kings or rulers (I presume) all facing to the center of the coin which consists of a Cross with a Crown at the top,

On the reverse it has what appears to be a continent with the capital identified as ESSA(something), and the greek islands (many also named), also at the top of the continent is "Makedonia"(Macedonia?),

It also has on the reverse the numeral "30" with what I believe is the Alpha symbol and a "P".

Does anyone know what this is along with the metallic content?

Thanks in advance, Jim

Edited to add: I did go to the library today and looked through the Krause (2000), but it was not listed in the Greek section.

  • sounds like its mostly design and not much legend-- so it kinda sounds like a medal to me.

I've always liked that design. Had a really prooflike BU, once. Think I gave it to my sister, for my nephew's collection. He's six, now, and starting to take a serious interest. He's a brainy kid, too- well beyond his years.
