The earliest set registard is physically in the #1 one spot. Both sets are ranked #1, and the next best set is ranked #3.

  • If you win, you only get a 20 cent cert saying you were number one in this case 2004, if you tie, you still get the same cert, and what I hear the top 5 sets this year get the same cert.

In other words it's an ego thing, good luck.... (lots of snipers out there this year)

OK, thanks, I will settle for a tie if there is no other snipers out thereimage--------BigE

  • Big E,
What you are supposed to do if the marketing stategy is correct for PCGS, is go and buy another coin so the #1 spot is your's. Then the next guy on the list will do the same thing and prices will move because it only take two people to make a market. I know from experience. imageimage
So how do you keep this from happening? Collect something no one else wants or can stand.
    Dick
BTW, congratulations on the #1 position.

Yeah, and you tricked me, that Booker T. has the toning of a high grade Carver, and your right, since this thread is about Booker T's no one will even bother to read it so I don't feel embarassed at all, yetimage--------BigE

I am reading it... with great interest.
    BTWs and WCs...
I wish I could bring up the quotes from past posts acknowledging their upside... image
ps. I am so glad that we have reached a point in time that a coin with a man of color on it, has received the attention it deserves.
BTW and WC were incredible people. Just imagine how hard it was to get ANY consideration "at the time". I appreciate the open minds of the new collectors! This set has nothing but potential.

RegistryCoin, you don't have a old junky 67 Booker T laying around in the kitchen or garage that I could drive over and pick up so that I won't be tied anymore do youimage--------------BigE

Sorry, I hate to repeat myself, but any coins I have are always available through: guess...

Clank and BigE are gonna run the BTW and W/C series.

They will jack up the prices by 50% and sell into the boomlet.

With the money they make they will go out to a good deli for a

    corned beef sandwich.

Hey, I was thinking, (...not a first) if I could get a little credit for "doing" the BTWs and WCs,
I could probably score a couple of jelly D's from Clank and E...
    We can split 'em.
Recipe: You take a couple of free JDs, then buy a bakers dozen of glazed holes, squirt the jelly from the JDs on the holes... and eat 'em. Even with paw prints, I'll take the leftover squeezed out ones. They're the best. image
  • If you tie with #1 you will be a 1 but maybe not the first 1 and you would get "No Soup Today"
