Spoke with Penny this AM. 'Pug' off the ventilator yesterday and anticipate pulling the 'ballon' today if tolerated may get out of ICU as early as this afternoon. So far, so good next 48-72 hours very important. Concerned that if Pug sees all these nice posts about him he will be very difficult to retrain. He is a legitimate good guy.

It`s good to hear that he is pulling through. Being in ICU and everything I would think is typical precautions after a major operation. Hopefully he`ll be back soon to post and read his Franklin series.

They will have Frank up and running as fast as they can to keep down blood clots...they will have him marching those halls...I know UAB (University of Alabama at Birmingham) in 1966 my aunt was the first to have ever received an artificial valve (she receieved 3) and is in the Medical History Books...UAB is known to have the best Doctors in the World, So he is in the best of care...
