    I highly doubt it is a pattern. I think a pattern would have at least the denomination on it.
    It might *cough* be some sort of die trial coin but not my area of collecting.

    Would you sell a possibly UNIQUE Kennedy half dollar pattern for $69? If you would, you would be as misinformed as the poor devils who might be duped into bidding on this travesty.
    Retired dealer and avid collector of U.S. type coins, 19th century presidential campaign medalets and selected medals. In recent years I have been working on a set of British coins - at least one coin from each king or queen who issued pieces that are collectible. I am also collecting at least one coin for each Roman emperor from Julius Caesar to ... ?

    Get him bounced for 2 reasons - selling a fake coin as real and charging a 5% paypal usage fee - both of those are against ebay policy...
