How long were you a "lurker" before you posted?

It was probably 2 years for me before I posted. I think I waited over a year even after registering.

Edited to add:

I went and searched and apparently I posted once right after registering and didn't post again for a year or so. I remember reading for quite a long time before I even registered, though.

I used to come here and read the posts on the old forum but it took me a couple of years to be able to type good enough to feel like joining up. mike

I visited once or twice but wasn't sure what I needed to do. But after a few months of forgetting about the forum I found it again. And then I just plunged in as quite the newbie.
