How do you crack out a segs slab. If you saw a segs slab you would understand the question.

THEY are probably the MOST (difficult more dense plastic then others). Best to compress (i use channel-lock pliers) on the sides till it cracks the seal. Then pry with screwdriver carefully.

Both are correct.SEGS slabs are the toughest to crack open. The method described is the best.

  • I use a dremel tool to open slabs. But, I have never openned a SEGS holder. Someone else in another post said they use a dremel tool, but warned of the plastic melting. Jerry

I broke one out once ... tough ... I used a vice to hold the holder ... and then used a high quality chisel to split the seems ... made me nervous, but worked fine
