I guess I still don't "get it". On the buy, sell, trade forum there is a thread that says ttt's are fine if only once a day. What does this mean ??? To the top of what ???

It's used when you want to put the thread you are reading to the top of list of threads.

To the top of the forum, every time there is a post to a thread it helps keep it to the top of of the forum.

ttt means "to the top" of the first page of the message board. More people are likely to see a post if it's closer to the top of the board's first page.

The board's moderator posted that thread you mentioned on the BST Forum, just to let people know to limit their use of ttt's.
