PCGS Registry Lunch in Pittsburgh

This is part of an email I just received:

On Friday, August 20th, at the American Numismatic Convention in Pittsburgh, we are hosting a special PCGS Set Registry luncheon and will be presenting awards to all winners in attendance. Email invitations will be sent out the week of June 28th.

They didn't do slabs for this last year (or any time I am pretty sure). They did do slabs for the forum luncheon.

I hope they do. It would make a nice momento. The people 'cross the street made a real nice state quarter slab for the FUN show lunch.

I went last year and had a great time. Everyone at my table (but me) collected dollars. One guy collected Ikes, another two Bust dollars, and TDN, well the name speaks for itself.

In addition to lunch and the awards for the top sets, HRH answered questions for quite awhile, and BJ, who did a great job organizing the lunch, handed out a few door prizes.

I hope to go again this year.

Does PCGS give out awards for most erroneous PCGS slabs?

Heck, don't feel bashful PCGS, after 9 million or 10 million slabs there are bound to be a few boo-boos!

Does PCGS hand out certificates at the luncheon for the #1 sets in each category, or just to the major award winners????
