The reason I am putting this off is because I like to use a particular random number generator to choose the winners, and that is bookmarked on another computer.

PS- Wayne- just fine, here. Glad to see you back. The place ain't been the same without you.

    NEPTUNE WINS!

I liked "the bull" story best of all, but the winning draw was coincidence (a random number). image

  • Wow! The luck of the draw!!!! image

What a wonderful surprise to wake up to amidst this 4+ inches of rain that is pounding down this early morning. I missed the announcement last nite because I went to bed early for a change. My back is 'out' from too much weeding and planting, and just had to lay down last night.

As I sit in the early morning quiet listening to the rain, I think that the rain is appropriate for the bittersweet luck in winning LordM's contest. I sure miss Daddy, but will be going down to see "the bull" soon who is now in the safekeeping of my Mom ..... who is still alive. She gets lonely, and "the bull" offers no comfort. He now sits bullishly in a small garden under the kitchen window, and has not had much action lately. She is not in the best of health, and I need to go see her while I still can. I hope that everyone who entered, and who reads this will appreciate LordM for bringing up the importance of spending time with our parents while we can.

LordM, as soon as my computer and printer are hooked back up, I am going to print this thread to keep with the coin, and will leave it specifically to one of my grandchildren when I am gone. I am not sure which one to leave it to .... yet ...... This will give me something to think about. I have another grandson who will be born "any day", and another grandson in a few months - which will make 7! I am SO lucky!!!!! Thanks again!!!!!

image <--------- I am glad this little guy is dancing for me because my back is no better this morning, and I sure can't do it!!!!!

    Pam

  • Congrats Pam and thanks again to Lord M for the opportunity!
