  • Questions:

    1. When does that rule apply? At midnight or at 24 hours?

    2. Are you going to take that from goose and dennis hastert?
  • RNCHSNRNCHSN Posts: 2,609 ✭✭✭
I generally think that once in a calendar day is acceptable.
  • The question was for SportsModerator1 not you.

    1) Use your common sense.....if you post at 11:45pm then you shouldn't pop it up at 12:05am. Common sense.
    2) You are new.....try watching social interactions and see how the board functions...that will help to see who will take what from whom and also accepted social norms for posting on the BST.

btw...you come across quite gruff for someone who has items to sell and is new. You are turning away more than a few potential buyers. For common items, there are few that want to save a few bucks to deal with someone who just seems to want to attack.....something to think about.....

I apologize for trying to answer questions that are publicly posed on the boards.....

Perhaps in the future you should name the members who you are willing to accept answers from.

OK, Alexandre...any time you post on a BST thread, it goes to the top. You are allowed to post to your own BST thread once per day. You obviously have great disdain for rules and have earned the disrespect of many of the members here. Good luck in your business pursuits here, I predict you will not do well.

Oh great now you have a Crystal Ball. Do you also have a time machine? So let me get this right. You dont think its fair when someone asks something of you or says something to you in a public forum to reply in the same thread more than once? If so you must be a crazier man than I am. iI like having conversation about anything and the last I checked we could do that here. Besides, for your information Mr Barndog I am doing just fine since I posted the weekend prices. I don't bump or TTT my own threads because that is lame and when I used this board before it never worked out to get me anywhere. Too bad I lost the password to my other S/N and I pretty much forgot the name. Because I would have posted it under that instead.

At first I was a little perturbed that the newcomer was being chided for posting low buy prices....I see what I consider low buy offers, and high sell prices, posted regularly. I figure it's a free market, one can choose to take it or leave it, so I ignore them, as do others. There have been more than enough good deals for me, buying and selling, to make the BST Board fun and worthwhile. But this fellow seems to thrive on the controversey he has stirred up, and instigates more of it. And then to flaunt the rules, and argue with well respected veterans like Barndog and others, is getting what he deserves - harrassment, no respect, and most likely no business here. I'm sure he will soon go poof! Too bad, as he is from my old stomping grounds, too image

Too bad there isn't a similar rule about hijacking someone's BST posting, or posting comments that have no business
    in someone else's BST posting...

And you all know exactly what it is I am talking about...

    All IMHO, of course...

Its not called Hijacking its called having a conversation. Or attempting to start one. Sorry if I have something to talk about.
  • ajiaajia Posts: 5,403 ✭✭✭
    John, I second the motion.
Many a time I would see a thread & say, "hey I'm looking for that too."
Had to bite my fingers not to 'hijack' a thread.

Posting comments, well too bad the OP doesn't have the power to delete some replies, but that cause problems with one sided stories.

Back to the 'rules'......Replies to threads have the same effect as TTT'ing a thread.
Just use common sense & the majority of members will be happy.
Is it possible to keep everybody happy? image

    Hey, what about 'tizofthe'?
Quite a few threads for him too! image
Maybe now that he knows what TTT means he'll abide by the rules.
