Ebay 2.0 question on # of watchers being a negative #?

Ok, so I have an auction and the # of watchers is -1 (negative 1)???? Anyone have a clue as to why it's a negative?

To keep it some what coin related, here's a new Jefferson I bought:

Does that mean the "watcher" didn't like what he saw?

Gotta admit that is pretty cool (coin isn't bad either image).
I have 1 1 1 for watchers right now and 2 of those have bids.....didn't have -1 on any of the 3 at any point (I was watching them as I stayed home most of the day and my back was having problems).

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

  • I had -1 on one of my auctions last week. Methinks E-Bay may have an off-by-one error...
  • I believe the negative has something to do when a watcher becomes a bidder.
  • Pretty coin!

Maybe you get a negative number if somebody stops watching something? Nice Jefferson too! image
  • That means the bidder passed away.
  • The watcher must have gone blind

Actually this Ebay 2.0 has been screwy on the numbers since it changed. It likes to show that I am watching 300 items, bidding on 200, won 150, and didnt win 147; when in reality I am only watching 30 items, bidding on 14, won 26. I thought someone was using my account to bid or something. So if you have a -1, you probably just need to add a few items to your Watched list and it will be a positive number. I am learning to just ignore the numbers.

Dont get me wrong some of the new features are good, but a few others I have to ignore. image

Yea, my name has flashed time and time again with "No longer a registered user", I've had -3 watchers on some of my auctions and I've even gotten feedbacks for items I never bought. Very buggy.

I also had a -1 watchers on one of my recent auctions. Very wierd.

  • I recently had 1 person watching an auction. I guess they deleted it from their watch list, because it now says a big fat zero - not -1, so that isn't the reason. It's probably just a glitch. When it doubt - click RELOAD ---- if that doesn't work REBOOT!

I have no idea, but wanted to mention that I hate the new format, but I do like the # of watchers portion they added. It gives you an idea if you may possibly see some last minute action??
