Need help on determining a price to pay for an item

I found this 5 Zlotych on eBay. I really like the look of this coin but I am not sure how much a coin like this would sell for. All help in this matter is truly appreciated.

My '03 Krause says $20 for Unc which I think, with demand, is probably close to accurate. Try $11 (with the $4 shipping=$15) and hope for the best. Or go $16 and change if you really want it.

That is one of my favorite Polish coins. Also look for the 10 Zlotych of the same design.

What Brad said. A pretty coin.

And while she's got a few nicks on her face from running through the briarpatch, I personally would grade her a little better than 60. Maybe 61, or even 62, if some of those lines are actually scratches in the plastic.

PS- the '04 Krause still has it at twenty bucks.

Now here's a question for y'all on Polish plurals... why is it "2 zlote", but "5 zlotych "?

Placid, there are plenty of coins with this obverse out there. Now if you are talking about the reverse, so far this is the only BU coin I have found. There are a few in EF listed right now. I have not bid on the coin yet and I do not know if I will. It all depends on how much money I get for my birthday on Friday.

The side with the women on it is the reverse. If you look at the picture of the slab you will notice that it is holdered so that she is on the opposite side of the label with the grade.

Is it bid high enough for you yet? That was the most I was willing to go. A MS-60 is usually not that great of a coin anyway.

That is a lot more then I was planning on going. Obviously Krause is way off on their pricing. I guess I will just have to wait until another nice one comes along that is actually at a decent price.
