You know, I'd written a long message, then put in enough disclaimers to keep from having to worry about their attorney contacting me that I just deleted it.

The pictures say everything that needs to be said.

This is a favorite of mine from the article - basing the authenticity on yellowing and staining - are they talking about the card or Wagners shorts! If that one is authentic, so are my son's Broders!

It's funny to me that with all that "yellowing and staining" the corners and edges are still razors. That being said, I would buy this card for $100,000 if those guys want to get in touch with me.

I never understood screw down holders. Can anybody explain it to me? Its it like a padlock for your cards or something?

Don't t206's have a black line running around the edge of the color on the card?

  • I can see why they might be afraid to have the card graded by PSA.

Something like this might happen: image

Instead of a T206 Honus Wagner PSA 8 ST they might have it labeled 1998 Topps Mickey Morandini PSA 8 ST. image

5% of my last submission has incorrect flips, that doesn't show real well for the "experts" at PSA. All were clearly and correctly labeled on the invoice sheets.

Ouch - had to be hard to do that when 85 is in big numbers next to the flip...
