Yahoo, I just finished my first Registry Set.

I just received the last coin that was needed to complete my Early Jefferson Proof Set. The last coin that I needed was the 1958. I purchased the coin from poptopsRus. Thanks for a very nice coin, Jared. It fits very nicely in my set. I have not added it to the registry yet. Now all I have to do is finish getting a few upgrades when I can afford them. Here are pics of the whole set with the newest addition. The coins with the smaller pics are the ones that I am wanting to upgrade at some point.

Currin, The other set that I am currently working on is the business strike Franklins. At this time I have 9 coins out of 35, so I have quite a ways to go until I get that set completed.

Really pretty coins! I like the toning on the '42 type 1 and the nice clear fields on the type 2. Super contrast on that '50, and I wonder whether NCS could help the fields on it. Terrific set!

I added the coin to my registry set today and moved from #25 up to #21. I am satisfied for now but I will be upgrading as soon as I find another coin that fits in the set and is at a reasonable price.

Thanks for all of the comments guys and girls. Building this set has been a labor of love. The first coins that I bought for the set were 1950 to 1957. I bought these on October 24, 2002. All of the coins were graded PR-66. There were all in one auction listed by Hottestcoins. From there I just kept adding coins that I thought were going to stay in the set forever but I soon decided that I should get some higher grades then I originally had planned on. This has all lead up to this set which I am still wanting to get some upgrades for. I have probably spent more money then I should have to build this set and there will probably still be more put into it. I do not really care because I love what I am putting together and that is all that matters to me.

Congratulations! I think this is a good time to get into Jeffersons, and expect there to be an upsurge in interest and prices over the next couple of years. The post-1950 cameos are still affordable, as long as you're not looking for DCAM's and top-pops, and some dates are fairly elusive. Good luck with your upgrades.
