Question about PCGS price guide for $5 gold eagles

I'm new here and was looking at the PCGS price guide for $5 gold eagles. The values seem bizarre....can anyone explain this to me...are these just typos, did they leave some zero's off or does the pricing have something to do with the population reports? Why would values for MS-69's (and in some cases 68's) be lower than values for 67's? Just seems strange to me, feel like I must be missing something here......
Thanks for any light you can shed on this for me.....

It appears that someone goofed when updating the price guide. The PCGS price guide is not a very reliable source. Bewarned that its true purpose is to artificially elevate the price of PCGS slabbed coins by providing an unrealistic value for their dealers to quote when selling their slabbed coins.IMHO
Reading the PCGS Price Guide is kind of like when you're in line at the grocery store, and you see all those tabloids like the Sun or the National Enquirer...you *know* the stories aren't true but you can't help but look just for ha-has!
That's funny, in the series I collect, the guide is often unrealistically low. Let's just leave it at 'inaccurate', shall we?
