Apparently Pete Tompkins has decided to move to a different area of Numismatics. His "Malibu Collection" is currently being sold on eBay by forum member mnmcoin and there are some gems to be plucked. Just asking ya'll to stay outa the way!!!!!!!imageimage

Al: I promise that I won't be bidding against you for the Jefferson Nickels.. They're not my preferred type of bullion coin imageimage

ah, Stuart. i know i'm gonna pay for that for a long time to come!!!!!! at a recent show in Clevevland i found myself overcome with MorganBullionEnvy, brought on by case after case of Morgan Bullion. i wish i could attend a show where such was the story with Jeffersons. perhaps someday............

No need to attend any "shows" to find all the Jefferson's you want..... just go to a local store near you. They are clanging around in all the cash registers.

  • I just checked and I moved down a spot in the registry. I'm kinda considering selling my set as well, it's getting very difficult to find raw upgrades.

Al: I understand and sympathize with your case of MorganBullionEnvy. There are so many of those little critters at every coin show that it takes me quite a while to wade through them all image -- But I must admit that I have a lot of fun doing it image

I wish you all the best in your Jeffersonian collecting pursuits, and look forward to the day that we get to meet and swap stories over a good meal image

"cashed in," I would call that cashing out.

    so Bill and others

why are y'all selling off?? because of high sales prices?? lost interest in the series?? overstocked!!??image

i would add that i often lost coins on eBay to Pete, though they were mainly Minst State coins if memory serves me right.

  • I'm considering just becuase it's so darn to tough to find one raw as a potential upgrade. Kinda takes the wind out of your sails.
