1999 clad 9 coin proof set ??

why is it that pcgs has these valued at $42 on their web site but if you try to buy one from someone they cost betwen $75 and $100 , is pcgs just behinde or are people just over paying for them ? i have been looking to buy one but just not picked one up yet because i am waiting to see if the price comes down to around the pcgs guide price .image

  • PCGS is wrong on MOST of their prices. 2-3 year old prices and if you wait for them to be PCGS's guide for coin values you may never buy a set.

    The PCGS price guide does not reflect the current active market on these sets. If you wait, you'll not get a set at market active price levels.

    Collecting ASE's, Disney Dollars, high end for type set and other shiny objects with crayola colors...

    Geez I paid 21.99 or something like that for mine back in 99. Sence than I seen them go up to $150.00 than the mint started selling what they had left in stock in 02 so the price droped again to $40.00 and now it back up to $75-$100
