"Looking Through Lincoln Cents," book update...

Today is the day I had planned on being able to pack the books for shipping, and two elements of the chain are making this impossible. The box maker was supposed to have the shipping boxes ready Friday and didn't deliver. I will have the boxes no later than Wednesday. The binder fell behind quickly, and it looks more like their turnaround time is two weeks instead of their stated one week. I expect to have the books back on the 5th of May...This means they should ship sometime between the 6th and 8th of May, depending on exactly when I get them back from the binder. I figured that following an exact plan would cause trouble - I didn't give this whole process enough time to come true, because I expected everything to work like a well-oiled machine, and there are four different outside sources I am counting on to do everything on-time for all of this to work out right. Sorry for the delays..

image Not your fault... were their turnaround/delivery times apart of the contract and guarenteed, or just estimates?

Don't apologize... this means it will come after my AP exams are done... when I'll be able to read it, and when I won't be reading it and neglecting my studies image

Books usually seem to come long after planned delivery dates. If you get them out
in May it might set some sort of record.image

Thanks for the update. It's better than other books that were supposed to come out last year and people still haven't gotten.

This one will definitely be delivered in May, there's no doubt about that. The turnaround time was not contracted, it was given to me as a "usually" estimate...I guess this one is taking a bit longer because the book is thicker than they are used to doing.

Since I have only been posting here a little while, I have seen mention of this book, but didn't know if you were still taking orders for it. Are you? I would be interested in buying one if you are!

Keep grinding away at those vendors. You've already got the book written and printed. Excess stressing about the things you can't control will lead to serious problems. I've got faith in you Charles.
