<< <i>HI THANK YOU FOR THE INF. ABOUT THE LINK. WHAT DO WE WIN,JUST TO SAID I WAS RIGHT???? LITTLEJOHN >>
Littlejohn, I would suggest you read the entire thread first before asking your questions. Mitch (Wondercoin) explained exactly what you could win and exactly what the rules were to win in the very first post of this thread. Steve
Wildjag - I noticed that myself, but, it was refreshing to see the high bidder had recently won (3) lots from our "esteemed colleage/board member" "Kiefercoins". True, they were $20 items, but, you have to start on ebay somewhere I guess

"The essence of sleight of hand is distraction and misdirection. If smoeone can be convinced that he has, through his own perspicacity, divined your hidden purposes, he will not look further."
Jay: I was informed that one active bidder in the bidder list had a "snipe bid" that did not get timely executed. If it had, the coin would have sold for more money. Sometimes it is better to simply place a bid manually in the last minute or two I suppose. I expected the coin to break the $4,000 barrier.
On the other hand, the winning bidder is a good customer of mine and it never hurts for good customers to win at auction coins they believe they did well on.

Thanks. I am stunned. Just flipped over to the Set Registry Forum and found my initials in the title! Certainly no great, educated numismatic wisdom went into my guess ... I picked a number that struck me as reasonable, i.e., I was lucky. It certainly is appropriate, I guess, for a Jeff collector to reel in a great Jeff! I can't thank you enough! I appreciate both the fun and knowledge you bring to our online community. (Sorry to be scarce in recent days, but my son was married on Saturday!)
The beautiful PCGS 2001-P MS-67 FS arrived today ... as a Jeff guy, I really appreciate the coin. I wanted to publicly thank Mitch for the wonderful prize and the enjoyment he brings to these boards. Thanks again, Wondercoin!
We'll do another contest soon and then I was thinking after a few more rounds, perhaps have a "finals" including all previous contest winners competing for a nice "grand prize", but, more importantly the crown as the best modern coin pricer I may even ask Mark Ferguson, Editor of Coin World Prices, to monitor the "finals" and report on the Grand Prize winner Or, maybe I just have too much time on my hands!

Now that it's over what did you expect the coin to bring? Are you happy with the final price? I thought it would bring more than it did.
