I bet that you are going to get a neg out of this because you didn't use a tracking number, and the customer will reverse the charges via Paypal because they used Amex.

Yeah?? Well, let's do it. I still have it....somewhere. Such an highlight in a collection was specially tucked away for careful conservation when I got it 4 years ago, and that's why even I do not, at present know the current position of this super rare and beautiful coin which certainly is the highlight of my collection of pre WWII Nickels. Just to make sure one of those forum members when they get on a flight to Europe does not get a chance to find it and take it back to the US.

PS $ 0.08 is NOT a good offer. Think about how much these rare coins are in demand right now, especially in such a good grade And for those of you wondering about the shipping cost, Jade shipped it back then with global priority mail, which was about $7 in April 2004!
I don't mean to insult you, but would you trade it for an old 7¢ canceled USPS stamp instead of 7¢ cash? The stamp is in near mint condition and problem-free, except for a tiny rip in the top right quadrant and a light fold through the middle, not inconsistent with the grade.
Edited to add:
For accuracy's sake I will add that the PO used too much ink in their cancellation machine when it was processed, so there is a smigeon of black ink smeared on the upper portion of the stamp's famous person's portrait, which does not detract.
PM me if interested. Thanks.

I hate to tell you this, but you just got ripped. There are cherrypickers galore all over this forum. That was the rare vam 68493.37566, also known as the "buffalo chip" reverse. It is easily worth 6 digits.
Edited to add: OK, you didn't just get ripped, you got ripped just under 4 years ago.
Listen. Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power derives from a mandate from the masses, not from some farcical aquatic ceremony. Will’sProoflikes
Wow. That's a blast from the past. I remember posting this a few years ago. I regret selling that Buffalo nickel as it is now in an NGC MS68 star holder with a CAC sticker. I left over $5 on the table!
