Bought a 2000 $50 GAE PCGS MS69 today - Is it wrong?

Bought the GAE for a freind who had seen my $5 one and loved Miss Liberty. My friend said she'd pay up to $500 for the $50 piece - I paid $469. Is this about right given today's gold price? Or, did I get ripped 'cause I don't know gold?

If gold is still $400 an ounce then add the pcgs slab cost say $30+shipping and the wait I think you did alright.
