OT How do I convert a Quicktime movie to a MPEG/JPG movie?

Use an encoder to change for one format to another. If you want a good way to convert movie types to different movie types, I'd suggest to go and buy Roxio Easy Media Creator 7. I have it and it is awesome. Make any kind of movie you want and convert movie types too. Its only 99 bucks and it'l save you years of time.

nah that stuff runs just fine the way it is, no need to convert those files.

I have some movies from my digital camera of my kids swimming and want to put them on a disk that my wife can watch on her portable DVD player while on a plane ride to New Zealand.
