  • Jim, here's a nice one on Ebay. PSA 6, and well centered.

I just bookmarked it, thanks! What's the going rate for a 52 common graded a 6?

  • SMR has the Raffensberger 1952 card at $35. A well-centered card may run a couple bucks more though. I shelled a whole $13.49 for mine, including shipping, for my PSA 4.

    bill7549-
Are you getting much competition for the 52's in those grades?

  • Yep, I've seen some competition for the PSA 4-6s. It seems like the cards that are a little offcenter tend to go for less than book value, where the nearly perfect centered ones go for a shade over book value. I have been trying to find cards that are decently centered, not perfect, but not way off either, and put a bid on it that will be no more than around 90% of book value, including shipping. I end up getting about 40-50% of those cards.

Are you considering putting together a '52 set yourself?

    Good luck!
