The Charter Oak sure is looking good!

A few years back I placed a bunch of 1999 state quarters in old style Kraft envelopes with high sulfur content. Last night I decided to take a peek at a few of them and see if any toning had started to take place. To my surprise many of them had started to take on some nice color. Below are a couple quick pics of a 1999P CT quarter I wanted to share with you. The colors are more vibrant and lusterous than my images depict. This particular one is pretty marky but it sure is colorful. I probably have 9 or 10 rolls, all in the Kraft envelopes I mention. Will be interesting to see what they look like in another 5 years!
Anybody else have any nicely toned State Quarters please post some pictures!

I wonder the same thing myself. All the rolls were BU and I'm sure there are some that will grade better than the one posted. I'll let you know in another 5 years.

cladking,
I also have some BU Silver Washington's in these envelopes and the ones I looked at have no where near the color that many of the clads have. No idea why this is, but the clad's are many times more colorful.
Looks cool, but I doubt it'll get into plastic
We may never know...
JrGMan2004 & airplanenut,
If I'm alive in 5 years (God Willing) and I do submit any I'll PM you both with the results.

CladKing -- have you ever seen Dansco toning of clads and nickel? Some of it can be extremely beautiful with multicolor rainbows.
