You cancelled your no reserve auction twice because it didn't get bid to what you want, have now listed it again - again at no reserve - and you think you can come here and SPAM it?

• NoGvmntNoGvmnt Posts: 1,126
Why do you even bother to keep putting it up and canceling at the last minute?

You're just pizzing off the true collectors that have bid on this piece in your previous Auctions. After watching you cancel the auction numerous times, no serious bidder is going to continue to waste their time.

Nobody wants to buy the coin................FROM YOU!

Keep your coin until the market cools.

Kinda weird. I checked here for to see what average price of this coin would be.

Barber Halfs

There isn't a listing for a grade of 68Cam

Why would PCGS grade this coin as such and not list a current price?
Hahaha I went as far as checking the number to make sure it was legit. Never know about some folks.

PURPLE!

Cleon,

Have fun at the concert. By the time you get back your auction will likely have been cancelled by eBay. You've been reported for multiple violations of their policy against reserve fee avoidance.

How about a serious seller?

How about some scans worthy of a bid higher than $125.00. You are selling a supposed PR68 and the best you can supply are fingernail size scans?

I wouldn't buy the Barber, but I would buy an ounce of whatever drug you are taking! It surely must be pure, hallucigenic, and potent! imageimage

Note that one of the terms of the auction is the "seller's right to cancel any bid that he feels is not appropriate"......you would think that bidders should have the same right....to cancel their bids in the event that the seller is not seriously considering selling!

I could see the price if this were a 68 DCAM but it's only a CAM? Barbers are not that rare even in PF68 grade.

Have the stones to finish the auction this time.
• Cleon, several of us have reported you for fee avoidance. Go ahead and post this over on BST because with any look your ebay account will get suspended image
I heard they were making a French version of Medal of Honor. I wonder how many hotkeys it'll have for "surrender."

How do I create a nice large picture of this coin.
The picture that is posted on ebay is the one forwarded to
me from Legend Coins whom I bought this coin from.
As far as ebay suspended my account, that is not going to happen,
since I have already had my leagal department confirm that I am
not violating any ebay rules and not avoiding fees.
I have been a member in good standing for 6 plus years and
have never had a problem with ebay rules and regulations.
As with most auction sites, there are loopholes.
Have a nice weekend. I am still willing to send this coin to a serious
investor or collector who has an interest in this high enc coin
with a 72 hour money back guarantee if for any reason you are
not completely satisfied with the product. I can supply many
coin dealers as refrences as need be.
• Well, as long as your leagal (sic) department says it's okay, you're in the clear!

So when you have an auction with no reserve and cancel all bids before it ends you have not broke no rules.

Now, If someone bids on your auction and it is above your "not revealed reserve" so you do not cancel all bids, and this person tells you to fu** off, should they just consider this nothing out of line?

Also, what is a leagel department? Sounds like the gum wrapper group.

I doubt you will ever get any credibility outside of a group of retarded folks, but I am sure you will come up with another group to back you up.

While I am not sure about from whom you purchased the coin (nor do I care), Legend clearly taught you to spell/type.

If you can supply "MANY REPUTABLE" coin dealers as references then why don't you? You are also violating the policies of this forum by posting a coin for sale in the coin forum!

It is also obvious that you are only interested in selling your wares, (if you actually own this coin), and could care less about being a member in "good standing" here on this forum, and that you are a "piece of sh*t just from the fact that you haven't deleted, or moved this post to the proper forum that being the B/S/T/ board!!!!image

Offer the coin back to Legend, I'm sure they will give you a very fair offer in line with the current market.

Legend was a bidder in the previous ebay auction for the coin. Interestingly, Pinnacle's bid was cancelled. image

I reserve the right to cancel any and all bids which I feel are NOT legitimate and or inappropriate.

What the #@&* is that?

Why not pay the few bucks to put a reserve on the auction, too cheap?
You obviously never had an auction pulled from under you when you thought you were going to get a nice deal.
VERY frustrating, upsetting & the feeling the seller is an ass, I know, it recently happened to me.

Or save us all the hassle & START the bidding at the minimum you'll take.

It's too bad you need a legal department to tell you what is legal & what is not.
Do us all a favor & hire a moral department, because that's really what you need.

The saving grace from all this is knowing youra "48 year old fat bald man"image

Why doesn't he just take this coin back to the dealer that sold it to him

The dealer tried to buy it in auction #2.
• follow up to Russ...

Seller was notified by e-bay also...

On Apr-14-04 at 17:36:54 PDT, seller added the following information:

I have been advised by the powers that be at EBAY that listing an item without a reserve price contitutes fee avoidance. This policy was unknown to me and unfortunately I have been advised to cancel this auction and create a new one using a reserve price. I am sorry to have caused any inconveniences.

I'm sure everyone will be watching for the relisting.
What are the odds that the reserve is not met? History would imply 4:1

• I will be selling this coin privately. The exposure on ebay and
your constant bickering over my listing has created quite an interest in this coin. I would like to thank you all personally for helping
to raise the bar on this fantastic coin. Live long and prosper dudes!!!

Looks cleaned long ago and is re-toning!

Huh?

Do you honestly believe that a reputable service like PCGS would slab a cleaned proof as 68CAM?

Regardless of what you think of the parties involved with this coin, this thread and even the pricing of the coin, I do think you should refrain from making comments from left field without the slightest bit of reasonable basis.

It seems to me as if you are just being mean and wish to say something nasty about someone else's stuff.

Raised the bar on this coin? Sell privately? you got to be kidding me! You're repeated misfires on ebay have killed your chances for a fair price there....same deal on this forum. I don't know what private means you have to sell this from here but I doubt you'll get any decent offers other than from major retailers.

WE can do better than $9100....I'll offer $10,000! image
