Didn't you buy a Conder slab book?

I'm sure "deep cameron" will be able to answer your question shortly.

Listed as PCGS 5S1 in the slab book. Very common. All seem to hold circulated lincoln cents from about 1918 to 1928. The green on white PCGS logo is unique to this slab.

I bought them to give a Christmas presents this year to the kids! You can bet Russ has been bad nad won't be receiving one!!! He needs the coal anyway, it helps to heat his cardboard box in the chilly Kent WA winters!!image
It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

I think that should be 1918-1929!!!

  • Yep, 1918-1929 and David Hall said over 50,000 were made. That makes it the most common sample!!! Usually only a couple hundred are made at most.

It must be pretty common, as a dealer freind here in town has a few of those, even one with the same 1928 penny in it.
