Also available are 1 and 5 centimes and 6 Livres designs. I wonder when the U.S. mint will catch on.

Speaking only for myself I have always disliked coins made into some form of jewelry. There is just something about it that hits me wrong. To see a beautiful coin destroyed and be made into a key chain or necklace really upsets me. Yes, I do wish there was a thumbs down icon for this thread.

Technically, the 0 Euro is not legal tender (because it's no tender at all), so it is not a coin

Nothing special. The dutch mint make those for a long time, with real coins.

I think it's cool, especially because it's a 0 euro coin. If you find this annoying, how about the Royal Mint's cufflinks made from gold half sovereigns?
