Thanks for that interpretation, but he was the seller. Sounded like he praised me like I was the seller.

I was very hesitant about buying from overseas, but he had a 100% seller rating with about 50 transactions(I think). I paid with paypal so I felt a little more secure with it.

This is German, not Schweizerische, and I can translate.

<< schnell bezahlt. Super gelaufen. Gerne wieder ! >>

Paid quiclky. super-fast (response). Further business!

The last part is slang, transliterates to "like further (or again)" but interpreted means they would do business with you again.

"gelaufen" is past tense for "run" but means you hurried to make him/her happy. In this case it would be your response time.

Remember it's not how you pick your nose that matters, it's where you put the boogers.

The Swiss speak German, French and a little Italian in the south (and in the hotel kitchens). There are many dialects of each....but I have never heard of a Swiss language.

    Good luck!
    Go well.

That's definetely German. Here are some translations:

English: Fast paid. All went fine. Will gladly do it again
Dutch: Snel betaalt. Alles in orde. Graag nog een keer

My french is unfortanly not that good...

Joy of Collecting - Next time you visit take a close look at their banknotes. Printed in four languages; German, Italian, French, and Swiss.

The Swiss is mainly spoken in the villages in the center of the country. The largest city where you are likely to find the language spoken is Zuerich. I have been to most of the larger cities in that country a number of times, which is how I found out about the language and heard it spoken, and it is definitely not any one of the other three aforementioned languages, although it is related to all of them in one way or another.

    Coppercoins:

I believe you.......but I am amazed. I've spent many weeks in Switzerland and many of them in Zurich. And I've had many conversations about having the three languages with many natives and not one person has ever mentioned that there is a recognized Swiss language.

One common topic of conversation is how you can literally drive down the highway and each valley (maybe only three or four miles apart) will have its own very distinct dialect that can be difficult for residents of the next valley to understand.

    I learned something today. Thanks.
    Go well.

On that note, in order from top to bottom as shown, German, Swiss, French, Italian.

I believe it is related more closely to French and Italian than German, because it is a Romantic language, not Germanic.
