Anybody ever deal with Ellesmere?

Has anybody ever bought coins from Ellesmere Numismatics? Seems like they have a good reputation, but of the 2 coins I have purchased from them, although they were nice and technically accurate for the grade, neither one displayed the color described in the rather lengthy descriptions.......

But to be fair, I think they like coins with a different "look" than I do. I go nuts for in-your-face lustre and flashy surfaces. They seem to like untouched original surfaces. Unfortunately, I often find that "look" a bit drab and lifeless.
To each our own, huh?

Both Jims were met at Portland and seemed very friendly. If they have anything else of interest in the future I will not hesitate to get in touch with them. Also the Ladies that I talked to were very polite and helpful.

The winning edge has some hype, but much of their advice on purchasing is right on the money when it comes to general advice.
I would highly recommend them but don't just buy according to their written descriptions: they are great ad writers!!!!
