I will second the motion that Big E and Mrs. Big E are two fine people. I helped to sell a coin for Big E by taking it to a friend of mine and the favor was well taken care of by Big E.

I have two regrets from Portland--that I did not get a chance to meet BigE, and that somehow I missed running into MDWoods.

That's a great gift, BigE. We will have to hook up someday, some place.

I actually came away from this show feeling pretty good about numismatics and the people who partake in it. I met a few forum members--all friendly, and all in all had a nice little get away.

I aslo enjoyed meeting and hanging out a little while with Mr. & Mrs. Big E and family. One of these days I'll get down to the coast and do some fishing or something. I'll buy lunch.

I never caught up with the elusive MDWoods either. Guess he didn't want that coin...

That is about the first two I ran into. I was at the ANA table signing up my son, and Mark came up to talk to me, and went to Ricks table and Eric was there. All about timing I guess.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. Meeting forum members was the best part of the show for me. Rick Kay, Coinlieutenant, JB, Lakesamman and Boiler sold some coins for me without expecting anything in return. It was nice to hang out with some real straightshooters!
