Free submission results - not bad!

LINE # COIN DATE DENOMINATION VARIETY GRADE
1 1937-S 5C MS66 - Crackout from ICG MS66
2 1907 10C MS63 - Bought raw for MS63 Bid less 10%
3 1849 G$1 Closed Wreath MS62 - Whew! Previously NGC crack out that PCGS graded AU58. Now back in it's rightful MS62 holder
4 1907-D $5 AU58 - Bought at MS60 bid price. Prooflike obverse

I'll take these grades. The Buffalo is bright silver on left side, deep gold on right. Reverse is all deep gold except pure white over E Pluribus Unum. Very cool toning. I was concerned it would BB if PCGS thought the toning was AT but it passed the test.

The Gold $1 was bought as a PQ NGC MS62, which it is. Reverse is MS63+. Got stung once by PCGS with an AU58, just a bad grading day I guess.

Here are pics of the Buff and Gold $1. Enjoy!

Well, I am on a limited budget, so I like to get the most for my dollar. Really glad that 1849 G$1 got back in a 62 holder as the AU value is about $250 and the 62 vlue is $600!

  • Nice grades. When did you submit?

I seem to be real lucky with PCGS turnround. They received these coins on 3/8 and returned grades today on 3/26. I've sent Economy in twice and received grades each time in under 4 weeks, but it's been over 6 months since I've done that. I've sent in gold on 15 day and 7 day services and never hve gone over. But now that I've shared it with the boards, I'm sure I'll be jinxed. I have 3 coins waiting for economy so need 2 more before I send them in.

    Jeremy,
Yeah, I know. I can't believe it's taking so long for economy. But my Dad gave me 3 of his coins to send in economy, and he is not in a hurry, so I'll need to keep 2 of mine hostage to meet the 5 coin minimum.
