Congrats on a fine performance in the World Series of Grading.
Try Yuengling next time. It is an underrated Pennsylvania beer that has somewhat of a limited distribution. It is allegedly the oldest brewery in the US. They brew a porter and black & tan

"allegedly" the oldest brewery? No bout a doubt it.
Happy St. Patrick's Day. I'm buying the next round.

Speaking of billboards and Guinness (my favorite), when I was in Ireland a few years ago, I recall seeing billboards that said "Guinness is good for you." GAT, I agree with you - the Guinness in Ireland is better than what we get here.
1/2 pint Guiness Beer
1/2 oz Bailey's Irish Cream
1/2 oz Jamison Whiskey
Mix the Bailey's and the Jamison in a shot glass, drop it in the Guiness, and chug!

Yes, Yuengling is pretty good. I don't like Bud or Coors at all. I've even tried them both factory fresh at brewery tours, and didn't take more than one sip. Ok, maybe two
Hmmm. Have you ever thought about dipping her?

Peace Dollars don't dip well, almost always come out worse than when you started. Morgans dip just fine.

For special occasions like St. Paddy's day, wakes, birthdays, summer or winter solestice, Yule, a job promotion, a wedding, a job demotion, a new birth in the family, a new birth in someone else's family, someone else's job promotion, anyone's job demotion, a new set of tires on me wife's car, a tax refund, a state of the union address, or anything else that constitutes a good reason, you drink Irish whiskey!
No. You drink Irish whiskey. I'll drink Scotch, thank you!

'Twas on St. Patrick's day in 1983 when I lived in Ghana that a neighbor brought in some Guiness to add to the local palm wine. Another Peace Corps volunteer told me that the lowly Ghanaian 1 cedi coins (7 sided) worked in British vending machines as a 50 pence coin. The next year I made several telephone calls from Heathrow airport with worthless Ghanaian cedis.
Should I thank Guiness for establishing a brewery in Ghana, or was this "pot o' gold" discovery merely coin-cidental?
BTW, I celebrated tonight with a 22 oz. Club Beer which is finally available on the South Side of Chicago.
MrEureka,
I'll go that one too. Single malt, thanks.
