    i had the Type 2 pegged as MS66 but it came in as MS65. good luck.

    Hard to tell from the pic. Can't really judge the fields for those tiny bag marks(like behind the eagle on the rev) which would keep it at a 64.
    Nice coin though

    73 Ikes were mint set only, and most have decent planchets and strike, and are usually loaded with luster. That one is a nice one. A few marks by the ear, one over the eyebrow, top of the forehead, and by the L in Liberty. Reverse is very clean, with one on the breast and one in the near right field. Better than many 65's I've seen, but PCGS tighten the standard, and I think Keets pegged it at 65. I hope you get a 66.image Many of the 65's from a few years ago are not nearly as nice.

    I'd say 65.....Seems to have a "dipped" look....Though, I could be wrong.
    Tough to tell from a photo.

    If your Ike looks like the photo (no hidden ticks/nicks/pricks) you're looking at a straight 66.

    Hey Frank,

    Did you notice that when you took the coin out of the mint wrapper if it looked prooflike?? I know that last few I have taken out have really been shiny. I mean they looked prooflike.

    The '73-D should go MS-65 but probably no higher. IMO.
